A gaming service operated but google is known as Stadia. The high-resolution video games are played through Stadia. It is capable of streaming the videos up to 4K resolution. Stadia support for the high dynamic range to the players via the company’s numerous data-centered across the globe. Stadia is accessible to desktop computers, smartphones, tablets, smart televisions, digital media players, etc. it is also integrated with YouTube. In Stadia, the user has to purchase the games for streaming. Stadia was firstly released on November 19, 2019, publicly but only in selected countries. Google has released Stadia in comparison to the Nvidia’s GeForce Now, Microsoft’s Project xCloud services.

There is no need for additional hardware device for the Stadia, it just works on the device that has the internet connection and supports for the web browser of Google. The name Stadia is suggested because it is a platform that reflects the collection of entertainment on which the viewer can watch and take part in the games. Stadia can support the video streaming at a very high resolution in HDR at 60 frames per second with 4K resolution. The streaming will reach soon at 120 frames per second at 8K resolution. Live to a stream of games without downloading the data to the user device is offered by the Stadia. It has also an option to save the game and then it is again streamed from the same state. There are many HID-class USB controllers for playing games on the Stadia, but Google also developed its controller that connects via Wi-Fi.

Two types of services are provided by Google Stadia; one is the basic level which is free of cost and the other pro-level that needs a monthly subscription. $10 per month is charged for the pro-level but allows its users to access and library of free games over time. Also, they pro-users get a discount on the other games. The quality of the video streaming also depends upon the speed of the internet connection. Usually, 720p video is streamed on the internet having the bandwidth of 10MB/s but HDR video of 1080p is streamed over the internet of bandwidth 20MB/s. initially, there are 22 games on the Stadia, but the company is willing to add 14 more games to the Stadia till the end of 2019.
